(Sunday Nov 01)
Well Guys,
I decided to give the new STYLUS 2.4Ghz module one more attempt at binding (Today Sunday Nov 01) because I have a lot of faith in Airtronics equipment. It worked the first try !!...yeah. I have no idea what may have been the problem when I made my first attempts yesterday and failed ???
I'm going to excuse myself because I'm old and I was tired (I sure hope that excuse flies)

Hey Guys,
Received my long awaited STYLUS 2.4Ghz conversion. It won't bind. The STYLUS I'm using is in great shape and works fine on 72Mhz. I tried to bind to a 92664 and a 92824.....no luck (several careful attempts made). Both of these receivers were then bound to my RDS8000 without problem. Modulation of the STYLUS was set to "PPM".
What now ????????

1. There are two versions of PPM in the Stylus Radio. You have to be in the right one. You will know you are in the right one because when you turn on the radio, the blue light on the back of the module will turn-on. My guess is that you're not in the right ppm mode. This was missed in the first direction set, we've already revised it.
2. Once you have the blue light, remember that you only push and release to bind to the reciever, do not continue to hold the bind button the tx module.
-Obviously the receiver must be in bind mode (I believe you are already familiar with the process.)

| I bound my 2.4 Stylus module to both 7 and 8 channel receivers tonight with no problem once I figured out that the plugs insert into the 7 channel receiver with the opposite orientation to the 8 and 10 channel receivers. Whats up with that, anyway? I made no changes to my normal Stylus setup, other than installing the 2.4 module. I know at least one other member of my club has ordered a module to convert his Stylus. I'll try to install one of the receivers in a plane this weekend and give it the acid test. |

Hi,
