I have lost 2 screw pins that hold the couplers to the tranny. These are the stock ones you reuse when you install the kit. The Traxxas part # is 4927x anyone know where you can get replacements without buying extra Traxxas parts? javascript:emoticon(' ')

Someone has got to either make these pins or have some surplus for sale.
any help? |

Unfortunately, the only way I have seen those output yoke pins available is when you purchase the output yokes from Traxxas. I have not seen them sold seperately. |

Hi ,
Craig , I found out that the only way to get those pins was with the yokes.
The link in the post above has pins that are only 2mm longer than the stock traxxas ones, probably would work. But..........

The pin for the brake hex is 18.5 mm long...longer than the rest so it holds the brake hex on.....yeah a special pin. M4 / 18.5 only available in Traxxas Part# 4927x output yokes and pins..
of course there is 1 on the truck to begin with. check and make sure you didn't put the longer pin in a different yoke.

Hi!!!
2mm longer but I no problems. Use dremel to cut it if its too long! Me I found someone on maxxtraxx forums that have them and dont need them. He ship them to me for free.
Thanks for the dimension. Those pins should comes with the xtm conversion.

Hi
Use extra long set screws insted of output yoke pins. I have found that if you grind off the extra threds on long set screws they will work just as well, and they only cost between 15 and 30 cents each. Also to keep the pins from falling out use some heat shrink around the yokes. |
