Well I was bored so I took some pics of my X-Terminator Deluxe with a brand new Collari LC.21B3 engine. It didn't come with the nut to hold the carb on so I have not been able to run the mill yet, but hopefully they will send me one soon. The Ofna 086 pipe is also brand new, I can't wait to see how this combo works out. I also filled the diffs with 5,7,3 which should help me get some grip. I'm hoping all of this will add up to a good increase in performance over the stock 24.7 with stock pipe and no diff oil. Oh yea, and I added a motorsaver airfilter too.

| Looks good, but watch out for the motor killers. The ones for 1/8 let dirt in under the foam element on a hard landing. |

| Talk to R9, Chassisman or me. I know, they are motorkillers! Dont use it, yu are better off getting a sh filter with the prefilter, or even the stock one with a prefilter. |

| well, there are three users of the forum with bad results. I have always been happy with my Motorsaver, but seems to me, why take the chance? As soon as they killed their engines, i shelved mine. Engines cost too much to burn up. |

| All it is, it needs a tube put in the center that has a shoulder on the bottom to keep the dirt from passing under the foam. If you make one, it needs to be slotted above the shoulder almost all the wat to the top so as not to impede air flow. The shouldr at the bottom should be atleast 3/16" tall and then slot up to the top. Make the hole thru the center of the tube as big as possible. I made one from aluminum for mine. |

Interesting. Well, it sounds like that would be a case of centrifugal force causing the foam wrap to sag under a hard landing so if that is the case maybe a simple tie wrap around the foam would prevent that?
BTW, Ac48 awesome looking Deluxe! |

Thanks Kmot. I am also thinking of getting some tires too. I am just bashing around grass and dirt, so I was thinking either the Badlands or Knuckles 2.0. What do you think?
And if there really is a problem with the filter I'd like to know which ones you guys are running. Thanks. |

Kmot, the problem is not the prefilter it is the foam inside and there is no post thru the center on the motor savers to be able to tie around. That is why I and others have sugested the tube in the middle so there is a step between the bottom of the foam and the air hole in the filter housing.
As for a good alternative filter, go with the SH or there was another one but I forget wich. |

| Well I asked on another forum and it seems that a lot of people don't like them. I am going to try a Ofna filter that was recommended to me. Thanks guys. |
