<  Magnum Engines - Ask Your Questions Here  ~  Magnum Pro SE 36 piston and liner

I need a replacement piston and liner for a couple of Magnum Pro SE 36 motors.

Will the Magnum Piston & Sleeve - XLS 36/XL 36AII part number 280942 Mfr number S36203 work in the Magnum Pro SE?

so all I would need to do is pull the rod and wrist pin out of my old and install the new P/L?

correct or no?

Hi,

The piston and sleeve from the XLS/XL series engines are not compatible with the older Pro series engines. I'm not aware of any other brands/types that might be. The Pro series engines were manufactured originally by Thunder Tiger, so it's possible that one of their newer .36 engines *might* match up if the design hasn't changed.
