| So I have my car running now and it's lots of fun. Aside from having to have had bought lots of parts to get it to this point. now my only problem is that in order to get the car to run I have to start it with the glow starter connected and run it giving it small bursts of acceleration for about 10 seconds till it can take off without stalling. Once I do that I can remove the glow starter and it runs great. Also which screw might I need to turn in order to get it to take off from a standing point faster? I might video tape it and let y'all see what I am talking about, |

| Sounds like your LSN needs a little leaning out ............... I can't be positive without a better description or seeing it. After you go through your ordeal to get it warmed up there is a screw that goes into the end of the throttle shaft. You will need to turn that clockwise about 1/8 turn at a time till it quits bogging or trying to die. If it doesn't get better then go back to square one with all your settings and read the manual to get set up. |

If I lean out the LSN too much is there a chance of killing the engine? I'm leaned out the LSN as much as I felt comfortable with and it hasn't changed anything yet. I can do it some more but I don't want to risk the engine. Is there a chance that I might have to richen it a bit? I'll make a video tonight and post a link to it. |

| Do you have a temp gun? If you don't you should get one till you become familiar with nitro engines. If when you pull the throttle your truck almost dies and then takes off, continue leaning it out. The biggest problem lies with the HSN not being adjusted right .............. everything works off of your HSN being set properly.............that is still has smoke coming out the exhaust when running, good RPM's and temperature below 270 degrees. When you have that then you adjust the idle and or the LSN for performance. Good Luck and HAPPY RC'en. |

Well I had the car out at a local park yesterday. Learned how to tune it properly. It's like I have a brand new car. Wow this thing is fast. The only downfall to this is that I seem to have stripped the gear or something. I might only have to readjust the position of the motor. I'll find out tonight if I can just readjust or if I have to order new parts. It was a fun couple of hours
PS..no temp gun yet...After Xmas debt is paid off I'll get one. |
